Hands Up - one of the most downloaded pods on the Adobe Exchange -  is an add-in for the Adobe Connect™ web conferencing platform. It replaces Connect’s built-in Hand Raise feature, and makes for a much more engaging and lively meeting by incorporating pulsating graphics and sound into the Host-Participant interaction. It is an absolute must-have for any virtual classroom.

Features and Interface

Using Hands Up, any attendee in a meeting or presentation can:
• Raise their hand (reflected in the Attendee List)
• Give a thumbs up or thumbs down
• Applaud
• Laugh

Other features include:
• A timer
• Customizable background fill colour
• Custom button sets

 

Using Hands Up

Hands Up can be strategically deployed to make your webinars far more interactive and engaging by incorporating sound and pulsating graphics into the Host-Participant interaction. The pod can be used by Hosts and Presenters to obtain feedback (i.e. “Is everybody able to hear me?”; “Does anyone have any questions?”) by Participants to give feedback, and to facilitate more efficient and organized presentations. When a button is clicked, a number representing the total number of Participants that have clicked that button will appear over the respective button. This is visible only to Hosts and Presenters.
