Hands Up - one of the most downloaded pods on the Adobe Exchange - is an add-in for the Adobe Connect™ web conferencing platform. It replaces Connect’s built-in Hand Raise feature, and makes for a much more engaging and lively meeting by incorporating pulsating graphics and sound into the Host-Participant interaction. It is an absolute must-have for any virtual classroom.

Hands Up can be strategically deployed to make your webinars far more interactive and engaging by incorporating sound and pulsating graphics into the Host-Participant interaction. The pod can be used by Hosts and Presenters to obtain feedback (i.e. “Is everybody able to hear me?”; “Does anyone have any questions?”) by Participants to give feedback, and to facilitate more efficient and organized presentations.

When a button is clicked, a number (visible only to hosts) representing the total number of Participants that have clicked that button will appear over the respective button. Simply click the number to see a list of who clicked that button.

New in Hands Up, hosts can now see how many attendees are still watching their meeting room screen. If an attendee switches to another window, or re-sizes their meeting room window to be smaller than 30% of their available screen size, their status automatically gets set to Stepped Away.
